beautiful grounds close to major attractions and park views
As a solo traveler, I found my room to be fantastic with a lovely garden space to unwind, but I did notice that the menu at the cellar bar was a bit limited.

The breakfast was great with a great selection of lovely food. The location of the hotel was stunning, to lovely breakfast in the morning everything was perfect. Besides, we were very close to the establishment, in particular Leona Hennessy the assistant manager, Mary and Marian at front desk, Darren in the bar and Aileen and Josephine the waiting staff in the restaurant, the outskirts of the Killarney National Park and an old castle that has nice rooms overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Our time spent in the Superior Double, Garden Wing was wonderful. The excellent breakfast set a good tone for the day, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh salads served at lunch. The fine grounds provided a picturesque backdrop for a peaceful retreat. The absence of air conditioning made the room somewhat stuffy during the night, a minor drawback. Despite that, the attentive service from the staff added to the overall charm of our experience.

The grounds were picturesque, and we loved exploring Killarney National Park with its beautiful waterfalls and serene lakes. Afternoon tea outside was perfect, and the staff were pretty good too.
The only downside was that the rooms lacked air conditioning, a bit stuffy at night despite the overall comfort of our stay.

Fabulous experience there. The hotel was magical, excellent services provided, amazing location in the heart of KILLARNEY. Very good breakfast with fresh Irish butter, and courteous staff. Elegant and fairly quiet rooms with a stunning view, beautiful decor, TV. Location right by Cahernane on Bank Holiday Monday as well as wildlife. Nearby The Oaks Restaurant - great place to chill out.

Everything! From the moment we drove down the romantic lamplit driveway to the fantastically friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough for us, to the lovely uncertainty of what was around every corner, roaring log fires and armchairs you sank into. Even the provision of wellington boots and umbrellas if you felt like a stroll!
Having to leave!
